Prairieland Alpaca Partners - 2008 WINTER CONFERENCE PICTURES

Carrie Hull from Sandpoint Idaho and Coarse Broads is doing hands on training for fiber sorting and grading.  Carrie was the guest speaker for the day and provided valuable insight into alpaca fiber, where we are at and where we need to go for long term marketing success of out alpaca fiber.  The event was hosted at Dakota Alpacas, owned by Barb & Clint Koth, just south of Sioux Falls, SD.  There were about 30 total attendees for the seminar.  The event was sponsored by DeSoto Bend Alpacas, Dakota Alpacas and Grand A Alpacas.  This was the 4th year in a row of doing a Winter Conference to assist regional alpaca farms with all types of farm management decisions.
